The EHR-M is a truly transparent large-diaphragm condenser microphone, carefully developed for studio work where nothing should stand between the source and the listener. The goal was simple: capture sound exactly as it is meant to be heard—clean, open, and alive.

At the heart of the EHR-M is Ehrlunds’ patented triangular membrane, paired with a uniquely designed low-noise, low-power phantom-fed amplifier. This combination delivers exceptional clarity and a remarkably natural response, with a bandwidth that stretches from deep, solid bass to airy, breathing treble—an astonishing 7 Hz to 87 kHz.

The result is a microphone that feels effortless to work with. It reveals detail without exaggeration, handles distance miking with ease, and leaves the proximity effect behind. Self-noise is extremely low, sensitivity is high, and the output signal is strong—so a gentle hand on the gain is all that’s needed.
