With the 023 MALFA, Soyuz presents an exclusive special edition microphone, the result of a private collaboration with the successful producer MALFA – now available worldwide for the first time in a strictly limited edition.

Where MALFA shines

Lead vocals that must sparkle and stay intelligible. Acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, or strings that need to cut through layered mixes. Drum overheads or room mics when you want cymbal detail without biting edges. Voice-over, podcast, or broadcast work where clarity counts. Any source that felt a touch too dark or veiled with the Bomblet capsule

Based on the proven 023 Bomblet, the microphone capsule was sonically retuned in close collaboration with MALFA. The goal was a modern sound that blends seamlessly into contemporary, radio-ready mixes: a gentle presence boost, a slightly forward attack – and yet retaining the unmistakably smooth, musical character for which the 023 series is known.
