The 1973 Deluxe is a modern microphone with vintage vibes, combining the best of first-generation FET microphones with modern manufacturing and design advancements.

This Deluxe Edition features a handcrafted S023 capsule, the same one found in the 023 Bomblet microphone, and boasts superior build quality. It incorporates a custom-designed resonator that reduces unwanted resonances and acts as a pop filter, making it ideal for recording vocals, voiceovers, and podcasts. The 1973 Deluxe features a streamlined housing, allowing for compact placement in hard-to-reach locations.

The transformerless 1973 Deluxe exhibits extremely low self-noise without compromising its sonic character. It includes both -10 and -20 dB pads, making it well-suited for high-output sources such as kick drums and amplifiers.
